Sandy Creek Nature Center Inc. Board of Directors
...is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that works in partnership with the Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services to protect, promote and improve Sandy Creek Nature Center. Our goal is to help Sandy Creek Nature Center continue to be an exceptional facility for learning about the natural ecosystems of Piedmont Georgia and beyond, as well as our responsibility to be good stewards of our earth.
...is a working, hands-on board made up of 30 local citizens who are dedicated to the mission of Sandy Creek Nature Center and the protection of significant natural areas in our region. Board members support the mission of the nature center with work, wealth and wisdom through strategic planning, events, community awareness, and fund-raising.
...welcomes others who would like to be involved in this rewarding volunteer effort. Board members have a unique opportunity to contribute to all aspects of Sandy Creek Nature Center, including its facilities, equipment, programs, exhibits and trails.
