This class will explore different methods of capturing images (street photography, portrait, landscape, etc.) and will help each student expand his/her technical ability.
Everyone sees the world in a unique way. This class will help students figure how what he/she is really interested in documenting or exploring (whether this is something in the world at large such as a group of people or whether it is something more personal they hope to express through their photography).
Weekly assignments will be given that will aid in each student honing their personal vision. Brief lectures will also be utilized and cover everything from the history of photography to exploration of contemporary photographic trends. This class is perfect for enthusiasts, amateurs, bloggers, seniors, Instagramers and anybody else.
By the end of the class, each student will understand what they are compelled to photograph and why and be on their way to creating photographs that express their unique vision and preoccupations.
